In the production process of modern electronic products, PCB is an indispensable part. PCB plays the role of a bridge connecting different components in electronic products, realizing the transmission of signals and data processing between components. However, few people know what technologies PCB will go through. Today, I will share with you the conventional technology of PCB production by KINGLISHENG (SHENZHEN) ELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.
1.Design and Layout
The manufacturing process begins with the design and layout phase. So is the first PCB Manufacturing Technique ,Engineers use specialized software such as Altium Designer or Eagle to create a detailed schematic of the PCB. This schematic includes the placement of all electronic components and the connections between them. The layout must consider electrical performance, thermal management, and manufacture. Once finalized, the design is exported as Gerber files, which are standard formats for PCB manufacturing.This is Design and Layout Technique
- Material Selection
The choice of materials is crucial in PCB manufacturing. So next is the material, The base material, FR-4, is a composite of woven fiberglass cloth with an epoxy resin binder that is flame resistant. Other materials such as PTFE,OSP, ceramics, or polyimide may be used for specialized applications requiring higher thermal stability or specific electrical properties. Different materials will affect the quality, function and price of PCB.
- Layer Stacking
PCBs can be single-sided, double-sided, or multi-layered. Multi-layered PCBs are more complex and involve stacking several layers of substrate with insulating materials in between. Each layer corresponds to a different part of the circuit design. Precise alignment is essential during this phase to ensure the layers match up perfectly when drilled and plated.The more layers there are, the more expensive it will be and the more difficult it will be to produce.
4. Create a PCB Production Plan
Next, we need to create a production plan for the PCB manufacturing. The production plan should include production quantities, materials used, actual manufacturing details, and tools used. This helps ensure that the production process runs smoothly while ensuring that costs and time can be used reasonably.
5. Get a prototype through copying technology
