PCB circuit board materials are generally composed of three elements that work together to meet the specific needs of an electronic system. PCB material is composed of copper, resin and glass.

  1. FR4 glass fiber: is the most commonly used materials in the production of PCB boards, which consists of fine glass fibers and epoxy resin intertwined with each other. Its advantages are low cost, easy to process, and a good guarantee of electrical performance. At the same time, FR4 material has a better adaptability to environmental temperature and humidity changes, also makes it become the ideal material for the development of PCB boards.

2. High TG Fiberglass : It is also a mixture of a certain percentage of glass fiber and epoxy resin, the difference is that the epoxy resin in it consists of a special chemical composition, which can increase the glass transition temperature of the material. High TG PCB boards are more suitable for harsh environments, high temperature and high pressure applications, such as automotive, medical equipment and so on.

  1. Aluminum Substrate Aluminum substrate is commonly used in high-pressure, high heat, strong electromagnetic field application scenarios. Its main advantages are good thermal conductivity, physical stability and friction resistance. In addition, aluminum substrate manufacturing materials are more expensive, the price is relatively high

4. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC): PVC is another commonly used PCB material with good insulation properties and mechanical strength. Although PVC is an affordable material, it is not well suited for use in high-temperature environments

5. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE): PTFE is a highly conductive material for high frequency applications. It is often used in circuit boards that require a high degree of precision, such as high frequency modulators and RF circuits.

6. ceramics: ceramics is a very strong and stable material, it is able to maintain its structural stability in high temperature environments, so it is usually used in electronic devices that require high temperature resistance
